So ready for summer and SUN!!

Well I haven't posted anything for awhile so I first want to say hey to all of you out there still on the journey.  Props for hanging in there. To date Tricia and I have lost a combined total of 91 lbs. since Jan. 1, 2008.  41lbs. for me and 50lbs. for Tricia. We're still eating right and working out 3 to 4 times per week and feeling so good. We are both wearing a size 12-14, from a size 20-22.  Healthier living is SO argeeing with me. Waiting for some sunshine as we don't get much here in WA state. Good luck to all and keep up the great work!!     Donna

So Unbelievably Happy!!!

I can not belive how happy I am. My life has been going so great. I have lost 40lbs now that is just so exciting. I just feel sooooo amazing. I know that I havent posted in a while and I am sorry I have just been so busy. I am so proud of everyone and all the goals that have been reached, and all the accomplishments that have been made. I just want everyone to know that I really dont think that I could have gotten where I am today without the support of all of you guys and my awsome Mom. She is doing so wonderful and looks so great. She is my rock and I am so greatful to her for starting this wonderful journey with me. I would have never though 3 months ago that I would be under 200lbs and now I am and it feels so good. Keep up the good work everyone!!!!

Rollin along

Hi to all my fellow losers, Well so sorry the season is over but glad that so many of us are still here and still losing. I had a great week this week and lost another 3 lbs. putting my total weight loss since Jan. 1st at 28 lbs. and boy what a difference those 28 pounds make in the way I look and feel. Tricia crossed several milestones this week, first we joined Matt and Corey' s 15 pound challange and today she hit 16 lbs. lost for that, second, she hit the big 40 lbs. lost mark and third, that put her down to under 200 lbs. 197 to be exact. She looks great and I'm so happy for her. Anyhoo best of luck to you all this week I hope you lose lots and lots. Love, Donna

Better week

Hi All. Not much time today as I'm at work and have much to do. Just wanted to say congrats to all my fellow losers who worked so hard this week. Tricia is on vacation so I really am missing my partner but have gone to the gym anyway. After my dismal 0 lb. weight loss last week, I lost 3 lbs. this week so I'm very happy about that and feeling great. Good luck to all, Donna

Screaching halt

Well guys our two week weight loss has come to a screaching halt. Tricia and I lost 0 lbs. each this week. I'm not sure what happened because she had a goal of 200 lbs. by next weekend so we have worked out extremely hard over the last week, and I mean we really pushed ourselves. I think maybe what happened is we did not eat enough to make up for the extra work outs. Do you think that could make a difference? Anywho, it's not the first time I've seen a "0" and I'm sure it won't be the last so we'll just keep plugging away and I'm sure next week will be better. Good Luck!! Donna

Oh happy day

Yeah, I'm under 200 lbs. I weighed in today at 198 and you can't even beleive how excited I am. I've lost 20 lbs and 6 pant sizes. The hard work is really starting to pay off. Tricia is down 31 lbs this week and she looks fantastic. She is so dedicated and is working extremely hard to hit the 200 mark by April 6th when she goes on vacation. 6 lbs, to go!!  I want to thank everyone on this site who reads the blogs and sends encouraging messages as it is so helpful. Whoo Who!!

Well it has been a great week for us. I lost another 2 lbs. and Tricia lost 3. The best part was that 3 weeks ago we were both so happy to have gone down to a size 16 jeans and last Thurs. we both bought size 14 and could not even beleive they actually fit and fit well.  We have joined Matt and Cory's 15 pound challange and have posted a new ticker for that, so I hope everyone keeps posting here and has continuing success on their weight loss journey. Everyone's a winner here

I just wanted to start off today by saying congrats to everyone here on their weight loss journey. I think we will probably keep posting and tracking our progress here and I sure hope many others do as well. It is a great source of support and encouragement for us. Together Tricia and I have lost 39 lbs. and are feeling absolutely wonderful. I have lost 15 lbs. and Tricia has lost 24 lbs. (she looks so good). Like she said in her blog we have made a life change as far as they way we eat and the excercise we do and we both feel so good. Good luck again to all of you and keep on keepin on. Donna

Keepin on

Well I am feeling amazing and loving it. It is a really great feeling to know that I have made a life change instead of just a phase that I am going through. I have lost 24 pounds and it feels wonderful. We just joined a gym and it was good to know that when we signed that year contract we didn't even have a second thought about it because we knew it was going to be used. I think that everyone has done a wonderful job so far and we can all go the rest of the way. Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Another pound gone

Slowly but surely the pounds are coming off. I'm down 1 more pound this week and I'm happy with that. Tricia and I joined the gym this week and we love it. I've always hated joining in the past cuz you go strong for a month or so and then stop and have to finish paying your contract. This time I didn't mind as we have been working out almost every day for the last 10 weeks and are so committed already that I'm sure we'll make good use of the gym. They also are about 2 minutes from home and have daycare for Tricia so it's great.  Good luck to all. Donna

Feeling so GREAT

Wow ya know I just want to say how wonderful I am feeling being 21lbs lighter. I have noticed in everything I do that I am loosing. Everyone around me is telling me how good I look and how good I am doing. It just feels so good. I have a big goal for this month I want to break the 200lbs mark in March. I am going on Vacation at the beginning of April to visit some very old friends who have always known me as heavy and I would love to show up there under 200lbs. I know it is gonna take some hard work. Harder than I have been working witch is pretty dang hard, but I really think that I can do it. Another week in the struggle

Well another week gone by and I again lost 0 lbs. It's ok though as last week I lost 3lbs. and I felt pretty happy about that so I'm just happy not to have gained. Tricia however has lost another 1 lb. this week, she lose something every week so good job Tricia!!
I am going to try and beef up my workout a bit this next week and see what happens.  Luck to all, Donna
 
P.S. I did buy two new pairs of jeans last weekend, size 16 (comfortably) instead of 18 or 20.

EXCITED TODAY!!!

WOW!! I am so excited today as I lost 3 lbs. this week and Tricia lost another 2 lbs. Our total weight loss is now at 33 lbs. As I said last week that I am now beginning to figure out that as long as I keep my new eating habits I will continue to lose a little each week, with excercise of coarse. I can't see myself ever eating that way again as it actually kind of disgusts me now. That's not meant to sound sarcastic or judgemental about people who are eating that way, but for myself I can't beleive what I was putting in my body. What really makes the difference for me is the way I look to myself when I look in the mirror or put my clothes on and they actually look kinda of good. Anyway I hope EVERYONE has good weight loss this week and just want to say thank you to everyone who sends encouraging messages as it really makes a huge difference. GO TEAMS!!   Donna

Not enough Food?

Ok so now i am having a issue with not eating enough food and that is kinda frustrating too. It is like before I couldn't get enough food in my mouth. Now it is like I keep putting it off like oh I will eat later and now at the end of the still before dinner but that is my last meal I have only eaten 650 calories and I am supposed to eat 1750. I could use some advise on this issue. It is not like I am trying to not eat I just keep putting it off because I am busy ya know. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Tricia

Feeling so good

Well yeaterday was weigh in and I lost 1 more pound and Tricia lost 2. That brings our total team loss to 28 lbs. We are both feeling very good about ourselves and our program. Even with a small amount of loss each week I know that next year at this time I will be thin. When you eat right and work out there's only one way to go and that is down. I will never again eat the way I did before, I look at the calories in a Grande Mocha or a McDonalds cheeseburger and say to myself "What was I thinking?" Anyway, power on
and keep losing!! Donna

Size 16!!!

Wow how awsome did I feel today!  When I returnd a pair of jeans that I got for christmas that were a size 18 and were to small for me at christmas time and I put them on last night and they were way to big. I took them back to the store and got a size 16 OMG I felt so good. It really made me feel like all my effort is working. Not that the pounds that I am loosing or the inches that I am loosing dont make me feel good but when you go to try on that pair of jeans at the store an you look at them and go NO WAY and then you put them on and they fit. WOW it feels great.Wink So it just goes to show you guys that all that hard work is worth it all. Have a wonderful week and push yourself just a little harder this week and see what kind of results you get. I guerentee it will be good.

Feeling a little better but still soooo exhausted

Well I am back to working out regularly and am feeling a lot better energy wise, however still mentally exahustedDisappointed I think that eating right has really just became a part of my life already though and that feels really good. I go to the grocery store now and I dont even look at junk food it like I dont even know it is there, it dosent exist to me. It is amazing how fast your mind can train itself to think a totally diffrent way. I am working on that on a totally diffrent asspect of my life right now as well. This is a little bit more difficult than the food but I am working on it. Anyhoo thanks for listening and everyone keep up the good work!!!

Things are looking up

Well today was weigh-in for us and again I lost 0 lbs. and Tricia lost another pound. We are actually very happy with that as we both lost inches. We had a very tough emotional week last week and did not get to work out at all. We did do great with our calorie intake and have agreed that it wasn't even hard as we are just in the habit of eating that way now. Tricia still had a small loss and I'm so happy not to have gained. For the past 4 days we have been back on track and feeling great. Good luck to all, Donna

Getting Back On Track

Well after the big blow at the beggining of the week I guess it is time to get back on track it was just sooo much more devistating for me then anyone can belive. I am doing much better now though. I didnt binge eat or anything but I havent worked out scince saturday Sad I have just been soooo stressed out, but I am going to work out tonight and get back on track. I havent been eating right in the sence of I havent been eating enough so who knows how my weight in will be this week. Everything will work out in the end I am sure I am just ready for life to go back to normal. Tricia
